I was born on March 11, 1973 in Alma-Ata, the capital of Kazakhstan, a republic in the former Soviet Union. Just over a quarter century later, I have finally moved to the City of My Dreams, the one and only New York. After a couple of years living in the City itself, I eventually settled in the nearby Princeton, New Jersey area, where I now work for General Dynamics.
I hold a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at (corn fields) Urbana - Champaign. I selected this program out of 10 graduate schools that accepted me at the time. I also have a Bachelor of Science degree from Christian Brothers University, Memphis, Tennessee. In a year or two I plan to go back to school to get my MBA.
